2017 Tackle Football Registration is OPEN.

 There are two distinct steps that need to be done to complete the process.


1)     National Capital Amateur Football Ass. (NCAFA) Registration

Please go the NCAFA Website.-

Click on the “Register” Tab on the right top corner of the home page;

Click on the “Tackle Football Program” Icon

Answer the Question: Did you Play in NCAFA last year and follow the prompts


2)     Nepean Eagles Registration for Main Tackle 

Please go to the Nepean Eagle Registration Tab -

Scroll to the bottom of the page to “Tackle Football Registration”

Click on the “Main Camp” Eagle Head Icon  

Please complete the Sportsengine registration –

New players will need to create an account, returning players will be able to login and – Then follow all the prompts.

Fees: Total $450 (2 options - One payment or 3-$150 installments)


Nepean Eagles Try-Out System

Step 1)

Spring Camp

Dates: June 5, 6 and 7, 2017 NEW DATE!!!!!

Location: Ken Ross Park/Mother Teresa High School

Time: 6:30-8:30 PM


Registration Night: please arrive at 6:00pm to sign-in to verify player information and payment.


The 3-day minicamp will be used to assess the player’s athletic ability (speed, agility, footwork, etc.). The coaching staff will run stations to evaluate the players. They will be based on the football FUNdamentals, (passing/catching, running/footwork, tackle). This tryout will be shorts and shirts only and athletic shoes– preferably cleats due to running on grass, no pads required,  

Following the camp, the coaching staff will select and invite a roster of 44 players to main hitting camp. The Head Coach will contact every player that tried out and let them know their results from the mini-camp.


Step 2)

Main Hitting / Try-out Camp

Dates: July 4 to July 13 – Tues, Wed & Thurs 

Location: Bob Stephens Field- Ken Ross Park

Time: 6:30-8:30 PM


Prior to the camp, June 2017, the players will be contacted to perform an equipment pick up at the club house, a detailed e-mail will follow. The players will pick up helmets, shoulder pads, pants with pads and mouth guard, all supplied by the club. Players will be required to provide football footwear – cleats and a practise jersey (black Defense, white Offense)


At Hitting Camp the players will be put through a series of football drills and exercises to assess their ability and potential positions placement for the player best excel at. The camp will last 1-2 weeks.


Following the Hitting tryout the coaching staff will select the final roster of 36 players for the team to enter into the regular practice and games season. The Head Coach will contact every player from the Hitting camp and let them know their results from the tryout.


Step 3)

Main Camp

Dates: July 13 – Nov 4, 2017 – Tues, Wed & Thurs

Location: Bob Stephens Field- Ken Ross Park

Time: 6:30-8:30 PM


The final roster of players will practice 3 times per week as the season will start mid to late August. The main camp will focus players on their positions and the roles with in either the defensive or offensive scheme. Players will only be allowed to play on one side of the ball in a platoon system at a time.

Location: St. Joe''s High School
Bring lots of water, sunscreen. - Dependingon the equipment hand may be full pads and contact.
Main Practice Schedule
Dates Starting July 4 and running to Nov 4 (Championship Weekend)
Days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Time: 6:30 to 8:30 pm
Location: Bob Stephen's Field, Ken Ross Park
Full contact session, all pads must be worn during these practices along with mouth guard..

Mosquito Madness

Mosquito Madness is a series of Mini-games against other teams in the league, prior to the season commencing. The mini-games are to allow the new and returning players to particiapte in a real live game and get a feel for what will come during the regular season.
